It is with a heavy heart that we mourn for the untimely demise of our Deshi Baller - Elona Taqwa, on June 5, 2019. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
Elona was a bright individual and a promising young athlete in our community. A valued friend and teammate to many, her dedication and love for basketball will never be forgotten and she will remain an inspiration for us. We pray for her soul's peace and strength for her family, friends, teammates and fans.
Rest in peace Elona. We wish we had you for a lot longer on the basketball court.
