Suggestions, advice and medicines to fight against COVID 19 so far.

First case of confirmed corona was traced in Hubei, China on November 17, 2019.  It started with a person only but it assumes as a devastating giant gradually. Now present confirmed cases are more than 10 million. It takes away more than half a million lives as of now. With its sudden attack every country in the world was shattered irrespective of more advanced or less advanced. It is natural as none was ready for such grip of a disease with related manpower and medical technologies. Even in US, they had lack of enough ICU, testing kits and health related manpower. Number of ICU cannot be increased over night and none even thought of huge need of it. Spanish flu pandemic caused by H1N1 virus 1918 took away at least 50 million lives from the world.  But in the era of modern science, presence of pandemic and losing of one single life are not expected. World-dwellers are still suffering from crisis of effective medicines.

Absence of effective medicines develops a tendency to believe any news reading medicines without proper judgement. Here I will illustrate types of news regarding healing medicines we experienced so far. It starts with herb antidotes like centella asiatica, undried turmeric, black cumin, clove, ginger, cinnamon etc. Some people were found collecting mango-leaves at night to eat to be protective against COVID 19. Some of the herbs are found effective after research and experts advised to have those if someone feels and presumes to be affected by cold and corona virus. Primary symptoms of corona like cough, fever, throat-pain and asphyxia resembles COVID 19 . Undried turmeric, ginger and clove are suggested to have those blended in worm water.

 

Suggestions of drinking enough worm water and honey and inhaling of hot water vapor come next. It has been advised time and again. Reality also remains here as many people were healed in this homely process. It has been accepted globally to have as to feel comfort if infected by COVID 19.

 

Social media published in huge volume that people vaccinated BCG have less possibility to be infected by COVID 19. We know that it works against tuberculosis but publicity could make many people in the world naive to believe its effectiveness against corona virus. In long run it has been proved wrong. Many experts predicted in the beginning that corona virus would not spread in summer. They said its dexterity would be minimum because of the hot temperature of summer. It proves to be wrong also.

Medicines like Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin were suggested by doctors of different countries. They suggested to have those together if anyone fell infected by corona virus. Former is the effective medicine for malaria and later for pneumonia. As of now we are having thought and counter-thought regarding these two medicines. Advice to take plasma therapy is proved roughly effective. As of now this is the effective way to heal a COVID 19 patient around the globe. Many countries are planning to establish plasma-bank like blood-bank. Plasma is to be taken from recovered persons if he/she consents to donate. This is a constraint here. We need medicines and vaccines to fight against COVID 19. Advanced countries are relentlessly trying to discover as it is a global essence. University of Oxford is ahead and near to bring forward an effective medicine. We are expecting it at the end of the year. One US medicine company  in collaboration with Germany is also near to success in their trial for a curing medicine. China is working for vaccine. They claim to have the success in trial and will be able to bring it to the market by the end of the year. They suggest Japan's medicine named Avigan as they found it effective in corona treatment. Japan wills to leave the patent right if any country wants to produce this medicine. Bangladesh recently produced this medicine. Beacon Pharmaceuticals Ltd. produced the medicine and named it Favipiravir. BEXIMCO Pharmaceuticals Ltd. produced the medicine and named Ramdesivir. We are waiting to have modern and effective vaccines and medicines soon to save ourselves.
