Severity of Corona deepens. Where is the Fear of Corona ?

 It is surprising and alarming at the same time that fear of COVID 19 is not found as it was in March 2020 when Corona attacked first. I can remember how people were serious about maintaining health code and social distancing. Print media, electronic media and social media were also found very proactive and reactive in every country which we found through the contribution of internet. Voluntary organisations were found busy on roads round the clock to donate masks, sanitizers and hand-gloves. They used to carry out programs to make people aware of the intensity of the disease. Lock-down  areas were visited by the rich people to distribute foods and medicines among the people. On the whole every sector of the society was found very vibrant in response to combat COVOD 19. Corona took many lives and left many people infected and sick despite the seriousness. Intensity of corona remains same or more horrible than it was in March 2020 but  people becomes reluctant day by day with the passing of time. We should have been more cautious as there is no direct medicine to treat corona patients in the whole world. Every country have developed infrastructures like testing kits, specialized hospitals, isolation units etc. Masks, sanitizers, hand-gloves and PPE are in abundance everywhere in the world by now. These are of course promising development. But the question remains as do these guarantee safeguard from corona ? Answer is the familiar NO and it will remain as NO until any medicine to cure or vaccine is discovered. Medicine for treating a corona patient is absolute absent in the world. There are some indirect medicines like Remdesivir are being used so far. Every country is busy to bring out effective vaccines but to bring out any effective medicine for healing. So we may hope to get vaccines soon in the market but not any curing medicine. In this circumstances we should be more vigilant than any time of the past as we are approaching winter very fast. 

World Health Organization and experts predict to have the second wave of COVID 19 more dangerous.  It already hits the Europe as winter has already been started there. Italy, Spain, France and UK have already experienced the devastating effect of the second wave. They have started thinking of locking down their populous cities. Nighttime curfew have been imposed somewhere. Number of deaths and infection increase day by day. We can see the same situation in the US. US could restraint the claws of corona to minimum but it aggravates again subduing their preparation. 

We should have weak incarnation of corona as we are now aware and our infrastructures have been developed. But we are going to have the opposite. Main reason is we lost the fear. It is not a good sign rather it may bring human disaster. We read newspaper, we watch television, we get in touch with social media and we browse internet. We are having facts and figures everyday relating to corona. But these can not stir our consciousness. Problems is with the faith. Many people believe themselves invincible without valid reason though they are having the stats of death and infection everyday. It is a very pleasing news that few vaccines will be available soon but we can not be disinclined until we have those in our reaches. Winter has not been started properly and this is the high time to be alert to make ourselves safe and thus we can save our nation.
